“I really like the Marcus Whitman hotel and have stayed there many times when My daughter, now a doctor was at Whitman College. This stay was also great….with the exception of a surprise “amenity charge of $25 when I checked in! OK, I can afford $25, arrived there on my 911 after driving from Sun Vally to my other home in Seattle. But the $25 charge came out of the blue! I did not use the amenities that this $25 was supposed to be for! Guess it falls o to the junk fee category. Anyway I think……

“This property was fantastic. The room was spacious, The fireplace was nice & easy to turn on in the evening & the a/c was very quiet. The bath products as well as the hand and body lotion were great. Loved having the Nespresso in the room. The small wine fridge to keep our wine chilled as well as any leftovers. Loved the balcony with the comfy outdoor furniture. Walking around the pond and near the vineyards was very relaxing. The included breakfast was delicious and the perfect amount to start……
