“Booked last minute, location fantastic, central with parking. Room was lovely, very comfortable bed. Owner Helen took the time to tell us about the building and all the renovations that have been done and ongoing. The public areas are beautiful, mix of old and new, really suits the place itself, all the staff were very friendly and gave us tips on where to eat out. We will definitely stay here again and would highly recommend a visit. We look forward to a very warm welcome in the future. 😊”

Tom, the host, was a real gentleman and couldn’t do enough to help, which made the stay even more enjoyable. “If you want luxury go elsewhere BUT if you are happy with basic bed and board this was ok. It is above a pub so be mindful of that if you want early quiet nights. The room was clean and sufficient. The shower was good, but dated but it worked well. There is parking.”

“El hotel hotel en general bastante bien, llegue ya de noche y aparqué el coche en una plazas que hay justo al lado del hotel. La habitación pequeña pero suficiente. El bar y comedor eran bastante bonitos. El desayuno bien, pero eche en falta una un poco interacción para entendernos (hablo muy poco inglés).”
