“It is a comfortable hotel with a slightly old fashioned feel, but it is a historic building and the staff are cheerful and helpful. My room was clean and the bed was comfortable and I appreciated the heavy curtains to cut out the sunlight. The stairs to the second floor were a bit tricky for an older guest when carrying luggage, although staff would have helped. I would certainly return.”

“Bedroom was very tired looking and needed a good lick of paint and tlc. Furniture needed replacing and also shower and hand basin. Bed was comfy though!”
