“Everything was great and very relaxing. Due to its location on a wooded property the climate of the house was very comfortable. When it was hot outside, it was comfortably cool inside (without ac) and vice versa. The screenshot porch was very relaxing and the house had a lot of items to use and good kitchen equipment. Furthermore Todd is very helpful host! The lake and the surrounding were very relaxing too. We were there with our teenage kids. For them the calm surrounding was a little boring……

“Cottage was just as good as it looked in the photos. Very clean and pleasant, tastefully decorated. Everything we needed for a month's stay was provided including plenty of linens/towels, roomy washer/dryer, kitchen utensils, pots, pans, etc. Easy access to the lake where we enjoyed swimming and canoeing. A short distance to the Nathan Hale Homestead Museum made for an excellent destination for daily walks that included some stops at the "Bread Shed" on the way to get some delicious breads……

“We all enjoyed our stay. The property has two things I wish I had know earlier, being 85 years young. Steep, steep stairs to reach the decks near the water and the downstairs bathroom and spare room, laundry. Also, the convertible couch wouldn't let me get up! Almost had to call my son and so-in-law to get me out! It really needs to be replaced or repaired. Everything else was A1 and we really enjoyed it there.We would all go back!”

“Beautiful place and excellent house.”

“This is a fantastic little property. We stayed here to go to the Brimfield flea market and it was ridiculously close. The place was very clean and had everything we needed and it's got a beautiful view of the lake and a little dock that you can sit on and sip your wine. Gus was absolutely wonderful to work with and there were fresh baked cookies and a bottle of wine when we walked in. As well as some nice little treats in the fridge for us. Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay ”

“My husband and I came up to visit our daughter, who goes to UConn. This house was perfect! Great location, clean, beautifully decorated. I loved the kitchen and grill outside. I cannot wait to stay here again next time we are in town!”

“We had a lovely stay at Reel Simple on Bolton Lake. The house fit our needs. It was a quiet and peaceful location despite being on a main traffic route. Despite the warning of the uneven floors we didn't find them a problem. It was nice to go out in the morning and have coffee by the lake. Everything was clean and comfortable. I will book here, if possible, in the future.”

“Our stay at Lake Williams was exactly what we were seeking for our 25th wedding anniversary - a lake house experience reminiscent of our childhood! We stayed outside all day long enjoying all that the property had to offer - time out of the hot July sun in the boathouse relaxing/reading on the comfortable couch (good lake breeze), grilling each night on the gas Weber grill, an evening fire in the solo stove and showering in the fantastic outdoor shower, enjoying sunset on the dock, watching the……

“Our stay at the Little Dipper Lakehouse was very quiet and relaxing. We enjoyed the three kayaks provided and using our own paddle boards. It seemed like we had the lake to ourselves. My husband went out early in the morning to fish and enjoy the peace and quiet. Our two Havanese enjoyed their stay with us! The house had nice and clean appliances and the air conditioner kept the whole house cool, even though it was in the 90's and humid. The only setback we had was the underwater weeds……
