Gorgoeus Yurt for a Romatic Getaway in Wimberly, Texas
Secluded, Romantic Yurt w/Hot Tub
This yurt features a climate-controlled space with a king-size bed, private hot tub, fire pit, outdoor bathroom, kitchen, gas grill, and a rooftop deck. It is situated in a beautiful area of our property, private and tucked into the trees overlooking a wet-weather ravine. You'll park on one side of the ravine and walk across a bridge to your yurt. Enjoy a glass of wine out by your own fire pit, lounging in your hammock or while soaking in your private hot tub at the end of a hill country day.
After more than 20 years of traveling around the globe and living in far-flung regions, the hosts of this property settled in Wimberley, Texas, where they enjoy the small-town atmosphere and peaceful setting of the Texas Hill Country.
In 2019, they created the location in Wimberley to provide a unique experience for guests to come relax in a private retreat with luxury vibes. They found beautiful, brightly colored Mongolian yurts during their travels and knew they would be perfect for the experience they wanted to create.
The reputation grew as their guests began sharing their experiences. Soon they began to receive attention from the media as well as influencers. They eventually created a similar experience in the hills near Dripping Springs. With more land and a wet-weather creek, they could add 10 yurts with the same luxury amenities in a peaceful and private setting.
The hosts now have two locations with a total of 16 yurts – each one tucked into the woods, carefully curated with vintage furnishings, and a lot of attention to the details of view corridors and maximum privacy. The original yurts are named for their daughters and other yurts are named for friends and family.
This is one of six sleeping yurts on the property in Wimberley. Designed as a remote hideaway in the woods, each yurt is situated for privacy with more than 300 feet of woods in between each yurt territory and has sweeping hill country views from a rooftop deck. The yurt is perfectly located for glamping near Austin – located just a few miles from downtown Wimberley which features multiple restaurants, coffee shops, bars, shops, live music venues, art galleries, and swimming holes such as Blue Hole Regional Park.
Whether you are visiting the area for work, enjoying a romantic getaway with your partner, or seeking a digital detox as a solo traveler, you'll feel your stress levels drop as you arrive at our property.
Planning a birthday, anniversary, proposal, or surprise celebration? The property offers premium upgrades to enhance your experience with thoughtfully curated add-ons designed to make your stay unforgettable. Upgrades include individual and couples massages in our spa yurt, fresh flower bouquets, locally sourced snack baskets, romance packages, and Dark Sky viewing experiences.
