We had an outstanding experience at the DoubleTree in Front Royal. The entire staff truly went above and beyond — kind, courteous, supportive, and genuinely invested in making sure we had a good stay. The hotel was completely full due to the snow holiday and the electric company support crews they were hosting, yet you would never know it by the way the team carried themselves. No frantic energy, no visible stress — just cool, calm, collected, and consistently polite service. Housekeeping was phenomenal and did an excellent job. The front desk team was especially helpful and worked with us when we needed to unexpectedly extend our stay, which took a huge weight off our shoulders during a stressful time. We’re incredibly grateful for how well we were treated and would absolutely return. We trust that any future stay here would be just as positive. Highly recommend!

Blue Ridge Mountains stop off

This is a convenient place to stop off if you've been visiting the Blue Ridge Mountains and Shenandoah National Park. It's out of town slightly, so you would have to drive if you were looking for somewhere else to eat. The restaurant was an unremarkable diner with average food - definitely not a destination - but the staff were friendly.

Stayed here for my spring trip to Shenandoah National Park, and had a perfect time. The hotel had everything I needed and the hot tub/pool were excellent.

Loved the hotel. Friendly staff, very clean, great views of the golf course! The restaurant attached to the hotel was not good. Service was good but the food was mediocre at best and overpriced. Lots of better options a short distance away.
