Esta encantadora casa es ideal para familias y amigos que desean explorar esta impresionante área dentro del Parque Nacional Lake District. Se ha diseñado como una casa al revés para aprovechar al máximo las hermosas vistas del lago y la montaña, que se pueden ver desde el salón y la cocina. La ubicación es excelente, ya que se encuentra a solo cinco minutos a pie del pueblo de Bowness-on-Windermere, con sus excelentes tiendas y restaurantes, a la vez que tiene la orilla del lago a la vuelta de la esquina. A pesar de nuestra ubicación central, tenemos mucho estacionamiento para huéspedes dentro de nuestros terrenos. Tenga en cuenta que la casa solo tiene capacidad para 6 personas más un bebé máximo. It was absolutely spotlessly clean and and all the bedrooms had en-suites which was a real bonus. The beds were extremely comfortable and made for a great nights sleep. The living area upstairs was a real wow factor with views across the lake and plenty of seating and relaxing furniture after a day out walking. The beds have seen better days and were not what I would expect from a property with that letting value. She was SO attentive and answered all of my questions very quickly (and I felt horrible because she had answered them all before I asked by leaving important notes around the house!) Windermere and surrounding areas are truly the heart and soul of England. We loved being in easy walking distance to coffee, breakfast, and shops. Our kids are old enough that they could go off on their own and my husband and I would enjoy a quiet breakfast each morning. The house had fresh carpets and everything was so nice and clean with a lovely view of the lake! Georgie’s description of the property and photos are exactly as described. The only thing I would add that is hard to depict in a photo is that the kitchen is very small and disconnected from the rest of the house. We cooked all of our evening meals in, so it was notable to us. Everything functioned well and we had all the tools we needed to make our meals! And as an added plus we could walk to the grocery store each day! We were traveling from the US so it will be a while before we can come visit your lovely country again, but we hope not TOO long! The house was equipped with everything we needed. All of the living accommodation was located on the ground floor with good size lounge, dining area and kitchen. All of the ground floor bedrooms are en suite and there's also a toilet on the upper floor. We were disappointed with the size of one of the double bedrooms. It contained a double bed but really should be re categorised as a single or perhaps a room for cots. The other two rear double bedrooms were excellent. The outside area is quite small and limited to a patio area but we found it adequate for us. The location of the house is about a 10 to 15 minute walk from the lake and retail areas. All in all we loved the week we had there and wished we'd booked for two. The communication we had from the owner/manager was excellent. ##### David C. It is well furnished to a high standard with 3 en-suite bedrooms, on the ground floor, and a kitchen, dining room Lounge and Toilet on the first floor. The kitchen is small but modern and perfectly adequate, and is well equipped with appliances, cutlery and crockery. The House is set out with some thought and there is a natural flow across the living accommodation. The House was immaculate on arrival, and included a small welcome pack in the kitchen, which enabled us to have a drink etc before venturing out. The house also had a selection of family games, CD's and Dvd's for guests to use, Do not be put off by the "stark" exterior and Entrance Hall, these belie the quality and cleanliness of the living accommodation in this house. We found it ideal for our 3 generation family (2 grandparents, 2 parents, 2 grandchildren, 2 dogs, and 2 cars!) I give this a very high recommendation. I ##### Ron D. It has an excellent location within walking distance of the top end of the Bowness shopping/eating areas, while a bus stop \[for Windermere\] at the entrance and another \[for Bowness\] across the road render a car unnecessary for local touring/shopping.
