"Rooms were clean and comfortable. Pool area, very nice and well tended to. Breakfast was fine, but would like them to rotate the menu so you have more than one option when staying multiple nights. Staff were friendly and accommodating."
"It's a excellent place for adults as we have stayed here multiple times and will again. My only complaint is that the pillows in our room were hard and flat. We'll bring our own next time just in case."
"A clean, well run, well arranged, conveniently located, older property. Nothing modern, but everything you need and everything where it should be. Comfortable beds and the rooms are well accoutremented."
"fully furnished kitchen with coffee pot stove refrigerator stove table 4 chairs living room is very nice and comfortable. bathroom is small but absolutely functional. towels shampoo, cream rinse and body soap is all supplied. The porch has two seating areas with a high top table 4 chairs then another seating area with 2 long seating and chairs around a small gas fire pit. (you would need to bring your own propane) the only thing I would mention is that this is not really a two bedroom. off the kitchen is a very small room with a bed, no room for a dresser and the door cant even open completely because of the bed in the way. you have to go through this room to get to the back bedroom which is very nice and has a sliding door to the porch. but there is no door separating the two rooms. Also no curtains on the slider in the kitchen, living room bay window or the small bedroom. It is a very nice location for a couple or small family. It would be awkward for 2 couples. but overall a very nice stay. And the owner is very responsive; quick to reply. We enjoyed our stay."
"The cabin is small, but served our need. Very well furnished and decorated exquisitely. Outside space is wonderful, excellent swimming for kids, large front yard leading to the lake and plenty of parking. We loved our stay!"
Charming cabin with indoor Pickleball court! Unlimited access during the weekday
10/10 Excellent
"Check in was easy. We just had to stop at the first cabin to check in, and the owner then met us at the cabin we were staying and showed us around. Kitchen was cute and cozy located in the original portion of the cabin with all the essentials. Cabin was perfect for what we needed, had a great pine smell with high ceilings and comfortable furniture. Small shaded deck with a fire ring and grill that looks out to the pond. Not very buggy which was nice. We were able to put up a hammock between a couple of trees. Indoor Pickleball court was VERY nice, with paddles and balls if you didn’t bring your own. Seasonal campers and owners were very welcoming. Definitely would recommend a stay!!"
Cabin/Cottage on the South Branch of the Pere Marquette River!
10/10 Excellent
"We were looking for a quiet retreat for our family close to our favorite Michigan beach. This fit the bill. The lack of internet was such a nice break. We loved the extensive movie collection. "
