“The building itself is beautiful, and the on-site restaurant was excellent. Overall, my husband and I enjoyed the atmosphere and had a pleasant stay. The only downside was the room layout, which felt a bit awkward. We were surprised by the open-concept bathroom, as it offered very little privacy. If we had traveled with our teenage daughter, the room configuration would not have worked for our family.”

“Wow..just wow! All I can say about this stay was that it was absolutely incredible. Starting from the very easy pre-check in process all the way to the gorgeous rooms, every detail of the Kasa was creative, innovative, and of course, stunning. Between the free iced protein coffee beverages and water in the room refrigerator (plus snacks, like protein bars and chocolate!) to a fully, and I mean fully stocked lobby area with complimentary snacks and more drink options than most restaurants have,……

“The rooms were dated. They could have used a refresh. There were no cups in the room. I had to use one I got at a gas station. There doesn't seem to be enough parking for guests when the hotel is full. Brock, the clerk on duty when I checked in was very friendly but the clerk at check out was not.”

“The Gillen House is a perfect destination if you are looking for a relaxing and peaceful getaway that is close to Athens and not too far away from Atlanta. The hosts, Edward and Cynzia, were very welcoming and made us feel at home. The food at breakfast was excellent. Especially the steaks and sides that we had for dinner on our arrival evening. The room was spotless and perfect. We definitely enjoyed our stay!”

“I have stayed here in the past and never had a problem. It is convenient to restaurants and stores. Easy access to downtown if you use Waze and avoid the main strip of west broad/atl highway.”

“Room was dirty. Mold in bathroom vents. Walls in room and bathroom and hanging wall art stained. Headboards on bed stained. Soap dispenser in bathroom coming unscrewed from wall. Tub floor and walls dirty and soap dispensers in showers dirty. Arrived to find out what was booked was one bed but by receipt clearly said two. Room keys didn’t work had to go back to get that fixed. Property hallway propped open with rock instead of being closed for safety. Hallways smelled like weed even though I……

“I found several roaches in my room and when I notified the staff they moved my to a different room on a different floor. The new room had roaches as well. I cancelled my reservation and moved to another hotel.”
