Lovely inn with private gardens outside the hub a bub of “old” town. Trail to town is right next to property and it’s a nice walk through a meadow to see the sights. Rooms cozy with everything you need for a relaxing stay.

We had a wonderful stay at the Mt. Gardner Inn in Winthrop. What really stood out was the care and attention to detail that Greg and Alison put into the property. It is clear that they take great pride in maintaining the inn and ensuring that guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. We especially appreciated the personal supervision they give to housekeeping and room cleaning. The rooms and entire property were exceptionally clean, well maintained, and thoughtfully cared for. That level of attention is not something you often find at larger hotels. Greg and Alison have created a warm, welcoming, and beautifully maintained place to stay, and their personal involvement clearly makes a difference. We would happily stay here again and would highly recommend the Mt. Gardner Inn to anyone visiting Winthrop.

This property was wonderful! It has an easy check-in and checkout process, and the room was wonderful. Conveniently located to the town of Winthrop, but not right in town which was nice so we were able to get great sleep.

Great little stay close to town. The room's interior was recently renovated which was really nice. We were able to walk to grocery store, ice rink, downtown all without issues which was also nice.

The qual room was top of the line clean at check in for four day stay. excellent ground floor location to view the 3 deer in the morning that showed up to greet us. The owners are very helpful to any needs you have during the stay. The check in office is full of historical memorabilia and local information. This is our fourth hotel to stay in Winthrop. Its by far the best and worth it.
