A mostly good hotel
Posted May 18, 2016 on Hotels
I stayed in the hotel for several nights and found it to be ok. I think one's experience will vary depending on where their room is situated. Mine happened to be near a side exit door, and there were quite a few times when people would step outside to smoke and the smoke would enter into my room through the old window that doesn't seal very well. There's also a nearby fire station and sirens from the emergency vehicles go off frequently throughout the day and into the night (though I never heard them in the middle of the night).
On the plus side, the bed was comfortable, the room was reasonably clean, the micro-fridge was quite large, there was a microwave, coffee maker, large flat screen TV, free wifi that was fast most of the time, and friendly staff. The hot breakfast was also quite good with sausage and eggs every morning that I visited it.
If I ever stay here again, I'll be sure to request a room at the back of the hotel where I won't have to inhale secondhand smoke so much and the noise level will probably be dramatically decreased.

Thank you for taking the time to complete an online survey regarding your recent stay at Quality Inn near Potomac Mills.
I am glad to see you enjoyed your stay and were pleased with the breakfast and our beds. Allow me to apologize for any disturbance caused by your room location and the local fire department. I have shared your comment on about out door smoke seeping in threw your room window with Management and this will be reviewed.
Thank you again for sharing your experience and I hope to see you your next trip to Woodbridge.
