"The customer service is fantastic. We reserved the Presidential Suite for family to gather after a funeral at Arlington. The suite was accommodating and was equivocal to a small apartment with a beautiful long balcony capturing the DC skyline. This is a great place to come for conferences, gatherings, and for those visiting DC for the first time. The Dome restaurant on top level, has a lovely panoramic, revolving view of the city. The food was good and although quite pricey, you are really paying for the experience.
The exceptional part of this hotel isn’t so much of the accommodations but the fantastic customer service.
Most staff greet you throughout the stay and are calm, courteous and helpful.
They allow pets for a one time fee ( not per day) and welcome them with as much kindness as they would your children.
Finally, having been absent minded in the setting of the nature of our stay, I left my laptop and wallet in the suite’s safe (locked), after check out.
All staff, from the front desk ( Cecelia, who went the extra mile to insure continued communication among all), housekeeping, security, and engineering were quick to locate the safe and items, communicated with me promptly and was able to Fed Ex ( at my expense- which was very appropriate) the items that day. Josh, Dir of Security, was extremely helpful in this process.
I def recommend this hotel. Only limitation was the parking fee per day. U Use your hotel card to enter/exit. "

"While the hotel was excellent and clean and the location was great and very centralized. Being able to get to all the tourist destinations was only about a ten minute drive, it was never explained that the parking was not included in the price. This increased the price by $160.00 which in reality is a little excessive as there is no other option in being able to park. You feel taken advantage of when you make a reservation and then find out you have to pay an additional $160 when you hadn’t budgeted for that expense. We decided one day to go the breakfast that was offered but ended up being an additional $80.00 for 4 meals that was just the same as a continental breakfast with the option of an omelette. Again very over priced. "

"The location was fine. A little noisy due to construction next door but, it is to be expected. It was great to have shuttle service to the airport and metro. The breakfast was okay. If you're going to offer waffles and pancakes, it should be made fresh. It was either too soggy or tough to eat. May I suggest biscuits and gravy, fruit choices and a variety of pastries. There should be a couple of coffee/tea stations besides just one. Also, with the increase of rental electric cars, the property should have more electric car charging stations. "
