Also climbed Bembridge Windmill and had lunch at St Helen's beach.Had a boiler breakdown on first morning so had no hot water for 4 days, happened on the Friday so difficult to find someone to repair it. “A very nice apartment with excellent sea views. Lounge/dining furniture a little tired but functional. Everything very clean.Guest guide book was not updated for 2026. There was guidance provided to connect a smart TV to the internet and how to access Netflix etc but the actual TV provided was made in 2008 and predated these facilities! Service from the Island company was great when we advised the rug smelt of dog likely from previous guest. Came and collected rug. Maybe just make it clearer there is a tight turning to access rear of property for parking. We had no issues but less confident driver may struggle but doesn’t detract from lovely stay in the property and week on the island.”
