“This is our third time staying at The Surf Yamba and honestly I don’t want to stay anywhere else! We were in Yamba for 2 nights but The Surf was only available for one. While our other nights accommodation wasn’t cheap, wow did we appreciate The Surf that much more when we checked in. It’s all the little things that just add up to a marvellous stay. The towels and shower gels are luxurious. The free mini bar is stocked with different drinks. The bag and beach towels supplied to take to the……

“The location is great (a short walk to main, convent and pippi beaches) and reception staff are super lovely. The residence itself is like a time capsule from 1990 - everything is very tired and run down but functional, we honestly only slept there so it didn't bother us too much as we booked for the location which was close to our friends house on Ocean Street. Kitchen could have been a bit cleaner, some of the cutlery was dirty and there was lots of crumbs in the utensil drawers but……

“We had a lovely stay in The Carmel. It is more than just a motel. The room is very clean and fresh, aircon works very well. You have everything you need in the room. You can play pickle ball, basketball. There is a pool and bbq. You can also borrow a bike (quite a few of them hardly ran out) to ride around. Great walking/bike riding track to the lighthouse ans the breakwall. The staffs are so friendly and professional. They will give you tips for what to do, where to dine in the lovely……

“Family trip. We wish we could stay there longer to enjoy the silent ambient and also the facilities. We have a big room and it is very convenience to parking our car directly at the front door of our "house". We encountered a snake at the pool and the staff there attended it and helped monitor it to ensure we feel safe. ”

“We came after hours and our key was ready for us- they also have complimentary washer & dryer which was a huge bonus for us! Room was great. The housekeeper recommended a breakfast spot and it was amazing food and coffee. Highly recommend!”
