"Great place for the weekend will book again"

"We stayed at the Meko house for three days and wished we had had longer. Terrific location just a half block from Lygon St but relatively quiet nonetheless (for a student neighborhood). Tram at end of block to get anywhere in town. The flat is bright and comfortable upstairs. Downstairs bedroom has carpeting and heavily shuttered windows facing ground floor but serviceable as second bedroom. Good hvac, very nice well-stocked kitchenette with full-sized fridge. Good dining table, sitting area...

"Came down for the Grand Prix with family. Location was perfect. Train station at the end of the street. 30 minutes to the city. Very quiet area, no noise at night, couldn't even here the trains! House had everything we needed. Kitchen had plenty of utensils and beds were super comfy. Would stay again next time in Melbourne."

Would recomend umbrella outside if raining n garden needs clean up. Toliet roll holder down stars needs fixing, and step into house oustide. Also had previous vistors handprints on mirrors. Aircons need a clean, But overall super happy , pantry full of supplies will be back thanks heaps katrina"

"Toolangi Heights is ideally located just one hour's drive from Melbourne's CBD, but it feels as though you are miles away from the hustle and bustle. Fabulous fresh water swimming pool and spa are not to be missed. Just a superb spot for a family get-together surrounded by bush and birds."

"Unfortunately the property was not presented well: dirty and greasy cooking equipment, dust and hair on the floors. There was also a pungent smell of vermin (dead or alive?) that meant that it was not a pleasant stay given the price we paid for it. Further, there was one scourer pad and no other cleaning cloths or brushes for doing dishes or wiping benches, which makes it difficult to get and keep things clean. I think given the poor kitchen set up, it may be good to include a BBQ out the back...
