"The pub was lovely, the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was superb and beautifully cooked. We also had a meal and a couple of drinks on the evening we arrived, and I can say that it was the best we'd had for a long time. Totally blew away a lot of the mainland pubs. The inn has real character, be prepared for the sloping floors and watch your head in the bedroom and all doorways. The rooms are named after ships and you can understand why. "So glad we booked this place rather than a large hotel in the area that we were considering. The room was gorgeous with a big bath tub (we chose one of the big rooms). Check in was easy, staff were v friendly and accommodating despite looking after the restaurant too (special mention to Ashmi who waited on us a couple of times in the restaurant). "Nice comfortable room. High end fixtures and fittings. Comfortable bed. Nice atmosphere in the bar/restaurant, shame the menu was limited and quite expensive. "

All of the staff we interacted with were polite and friendly. We enjoyed a delicious meal in the pub for dinner. The only disappointment with our stay was the confusion over breakfast. "We booked this last minute just as we arrived in Lymington - and the staff were all really friendly and helpful - we booked a table for dinner which was really good. Room was perfect - only small thing was that the emergency light above the door was really bright - and I’m sure this is out of their control. Breakfast was spot on and again the staff were lovely. "Long weekend away booked the Ryde Castle. I have stayed before here, for business. This time with my wife. Did not disappoint, fantastic seaview. Great breakfast. The stay was made so welcoming with all the staff especially Charles, reception and the breakfast staff. Basically everyone. Fantastic will book again. "
