Beware there is no AC!! The front desk will tell you that it is because it may get in the 40s at night. They do provide a very small fan. Only one night did it feel okay. You can open the window in hopes that it gets cooler. Yet beware that if your by a receiving area they (staff?) arrive before 9am and are very noisy. Plus with the windows open you hear everything from the beeping reversing sound of the truck, the yelling of the staff, their entire conversation downstairs in the receiving area and the rolling linen carts.

The only reason we stayed in the cabins is because the hotel rooms were booked. The cabins are VERY dated and the property around the outside is in disrepair. The beds were comfortable enough but that’s about all. In the end it was an expensive place to shower and sleep, really no other amenities.

Canyon was well located in the park so you could explore north, south, east and west. Dining options were kid friendly. We unfortunately were there during a power outage. With generators, we had some light and power to an outlet which was nice. I rarely say anything negative, however, our room had a noticeable urine smell which was especially worse at night. The cleanliness beyond this was excellent.

Hard to find a parking space and refrigerator is making humming sound and I called the office to replace. They said that the freezer is short of supply. I have to unplug the cord while sleeping. One day no power in the room

The property lost power so there was no internet, no hot water and no electricity-I guess paying over $400/ night gets you a camping experience. Not good!

Unfortunately, the room and especially the bathroom smelled like a dirty rag. Found food scraps on the floor surrounding the beds. No A/C, TV, or microwave. internet and electricity went out for 2 days, which is a problem given no cell reception in the park. Walls so thin you can hear conversation and neighbors walking around. Location central to park activities but overall very much overpriced. Wouldn’t recommend staying here.

There is no power in any of the cabins. Only emergency lighting works. The only good about this cabin is the location. It is right besides the falls and center of Yellowstone. For the amount they charge they should at least have couple of backup generators. Even the lift doesn’t work.
