3/5 Okay

Disliked: Amenities
This is a really nice facility inside Yellowstone. That being said there are a few things you should be aware of. There is basically no wifi anywhere on property. They say there is in the main building lobby, but it is not useable. Also, there are very limited food options. The main eatery is very good, but the line is forever long and very slow. There are also limited options. The general store closes too early (6pm) if you need groceries. Also, there are several buildings, so don't assume you are in the main building when you check in.

2/5 Poor

The hotel rooms were nice. The bin for self-sorting of trash between compost, recycle and landfill was too small for the three day stay without housekeeping services. The food service options and hours of service were disappointing. There is no pool at this location, so be advised if you have small children looking for this amenity, its not there. Parking is adequate.

Beautiful facility. It's the National Park Services flagship eco lodge. Nice laundry room. Wifi only in main lodge. No TV, which I don't mind. Nice place to sit outside. Canyon village, with shops and eateries, is a 7 minute walk away. Wildlife, even bison, come onto the property.

Great location next to the canyon and in the center of the park. It gets five stars for that but was expecting more of a rustic national park feel, it's more of a big impersonal Holiday Inn without some of the creature comforts of a Holiday Inn.
