“The room smelled musty, there was water leaking from somewhere, the room had patch spots that were not painted and the room had a humidifier in it to apparently get rid of the smell. Also, the telephone in the room did not work and neither did the television remote, it took the guy at night three times to find a working remote for my room. The air conditioning unit had duct tape on the front of it to hold it together. The toilet seat was broken because when you go to sit on it, it would slide……

"I had a pleasant stay overall. The young front desk guy with curly hair was not only handsome but also extremely kind — truly six-star service! I wasn’t feeling well when I arrived, and he allowed me to check in early, which I really appreciated. The hotel was clean and comfortable, definitely worth five stars. The only downside was the service from housekeeping. Just as I entered the room and was about to shower, someone knocked loudly and impatiently on the door. Even after I said “just a second,” they kept knocking. When I opened the door, the person said something I couldn’t catch and left. Later, I called to request extra towels — it took two calls, and when they finally arrived, the staff knocked just as rudely again. Still, thanks to the great front desk service and clean room, it was a mostly good experience."
