“The property was in great condition and located conveniently right across the street from the beach. But the staff were the greatest asset. “Location, location, location. What this hotel lacks in on-site amenities or upgrades, it makes up for 5X in the location. Other than getting a rental home, this hotel is the best location you can get with proximity to the beach, as well as proximity to all of the shops and restaurants downtown. The staff is always friendly, they do their best to accommodate any request, and the fresh baked cookies in the lobby are certainly a nice touch. For the price, this is by far the best option when staying……

“The room is one of the better ones among hotels this price- good size, nice living room/kitchen, and separated bathroom/sinks. More homelike than other hotel rooms. One of the mornings, breakfast was outstanding (bacon, potatoes, egg omlets) along with waffles. Overall, everything was a moderate cut above other 3/4 star hotels. And the shuttle was very helpful. Closeness to the beach didn’t hurt either. Very satisfied. ”

“Love the old charm of the building. If your looking for super fancy, this isn't the place and that's exactly what I loved about it! It was fun to explore. Shopping and food very close. Fort Clinch only about 5 minutes away. Love Fernandina. Will definitely stay again. ”
