“From every direction the views were just lovely. We stayed in the first week of Nov before the rains. So we had super weather (and a super-moon). Walked the Plicvice National park in the afternoon before our check in. So happy to have a pretty, clean, comfortable, warm, and nicely appointed place for the night. Check in was simple. Hostess made some beautiful individual coffee cakes that were hot and deliciously aromatic, but because our entire family is gluten intolerant, we couldn’t……

“Villa Stone was amazing. Our host Mata was very accommodating and very personable. We let him know we were interested in dinner at the location and we set a time. “Great location for Plitvice. Quiet and clean. Safe area. A couple restaurant options within walking distance. Beds were comfortable. Difficult that there was no WhatsApp to communicate ahead of time. Also I specifically booked a two bedroom suite and the landlady only let us have one of the bedrooms (claiming that you needed five people to get the second bedroom). We made do but I would seriously confirm ahead of time. That wasn’t great we were two friends who expected our own rooms which was……

"Very welcoming hosts and they gave us good information about the Plitvick and flixbus information. Very cosy room with good WiFi, shower. Excellent delicious breakfast (€10), very nice dinner with good price. As the previous reviewer said, no need to go somewhere to take breakfast or dinner. (No lunch service) 45 minutes to walk to entrance 2 with ordinary pace. The nearest flixbus station is about 12 minutes walk. We got off wrongly on entrance 1, where the taxi insisted charging €15, Uber calling failed many times. "
