Zenith de Caen

Déco et équipements défraîchis dans une chambre monochrome et triste, pas tout à fait à la hauteur d'un 5 étoiles. La chambre n'a pas pu être nettoyée avant le milieu de l'après midi, sûrement par manque de personnel. Au solarium, un bout du canapé était tâché de déjections de mouettes, un cendrier sale trainait, quelques transats et chaises... La qualité du room service était bien mais pas digne non plus d'un 5 étoiles : camembert de supermarché, club sandwich avec bords non taillés, garnitures étranges et froides servies seules dans un petit bol (gruyere rapé, micro dés de jambon et bacon...).

We stayed one night at the chateau in July as a family of 5, including three teens. The property exterior is beautiful. Our kids enjoyed the pool. Our unit was a 2-bed, 2-bath. Unfortunately the hotel did not tell us ahead of time that the upstairs bath was out of order. Or offer any type of reimbursement. We paid almost $700 for the night. The main floor of the unit did have a mini split a/c, however, the upstairs attic bedroom did not. It was so hot, easily 20 degrees warmer, that our boys ended up sleeping on the couch and chairs on the main level. No one slept well that night. Very disappointed. Sadly would not recommend for families.
