Very nice place, clean and quiet rooms, friendly staff . Restaurant on site was good if not a bit pricey but that’s expected. The layout of the hotel allows for a good sleep . Staff was very friendly and accommodating , location is great as it’s a few min away from the main streets but close enough for a quick walk .

Very nice hotel is in a convenient location in San Marcos close enough to the main road and the public dock. Solid restaurant and good customer service. Meals were good if not great. Scenic view of the lake. They did a nice job putting together transportation and activities for our visit. Just be aware that because it is in town you may hear some sounds like music and dogs close to bedtime but never after 10pm. I would stay again.

I had an absolutely spectacular stay at Atitlán Oasis Eco Hotel and Spa Kaalpul in San Antonio Palopó, Sololá, Guatemala. From the moment we arrived, the place felt like a sanctuary. The facilities are beautiful and thoughtfully designed, perfectly blending comfort with the natural beauty of Lake Atitlán. There is a deep sense of peace throughout the property—it’s the kind of place where you truly disconnect from the world and reconnect with what matters. What made our experience truly unforgettable, however, was the incredible staff, led by Alexis, who is without a doubt one of the best hosts I have ever met. She went above and beyond to help create a very special atmosphere and decoration for my girlfriend and me, as we came to spend a few days resting and reconnecting. Her warmth, attention to detail, and genuine care made the experience deeply personal and memorable. The food was spectacular, the rooms are beautiful and comfortable, and the terrace is simply magical—whether you're enjoying a cocktail at sunset or having breakfast with an incredible view of the lake. If you are looking for a place that combines tranquility, beauty, exceptional service, and unforgettable moments, Atitlán Oasis Eco Hotel and Spa Kaalpul is truly a gem. We will definitely return.
