It was very quiet, possibly we were there on their last open weekend, not sure. Sound proofing wasn’t good In the bedroom, we could hear a man talking loudly either in the next room or in the corridor around midnight. I’m sure that in the height of the season it is a very different experience. Having said that the beds were comfortable and there was plenty of hot water. We don’t think it merits the 5\* rating.
