The Hotel Alexander is a super convenient location, very central to the train station, close to all the important sights and located on the walking street in old Town. There was an interesting night life with the cafes and restaurants close by. The rooms are modernized and very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was very good and the front desk staff very helpful with all kinds of information. We would repeat staying here in the future!

Great location to stay if you need to head to the airport. Would recommend for overnight stay. Room was small for two people but that was my oversight. They offer breakfast but we couldn’t stay as we had an early flight

Great location close to transport and amenities. Great shopping location. Only fault would be you had to carry heavy bags up a flight of stairs before you got to the lift. Then the lift was extremely small.

Hotel was basic and reasonably priced for a Zurich hotel. The excellent location was just across the bridge to the main train station. Also, it was located right in the heart of a fun, lively area with lots of excellent, traditional restaurants. The breakfast and coffee was excellent and plentiful in a nice breakfast room. The bathroom was modern and very clean and had everything you need. I would recommend this hotel.

It was a nice modern hotel in old town. What hurts this property is the lack of AC or fans so the window has to be opened. It is a busy wonderful part of Allstate (Old Town) which is good and bad. Great location and hotel but very noisy when windows are open. Ear plugs provided were kind but not very helpful

We stayed at this hotel for two nights. I was not sure if I had made the right choice at first. But when we arrived we were pleasantly surpriised. The staff were very welcoming, water and coffee available 24/7, clean rooms and breakfast was good. Location was excellent!

Fantastic location just 5 mins from the main train station and on the same street as loads of great restaurants. Close to tram stops too. Reception staff were helpful and we were able to leave our bags as we arrived early and could also store them on the day we left. Family room was spacious and beds were really comfortable. Breakfast was varied and delicious. A great hotel to base yourself from if exploring Zurich

Lovely hotel in perfect location. It was an easy and scenic walk to and from train station. Lots of great food options nearby. Hôtel gave complimentary apples, water and other assorted drinks. Breakfast had a good variety of options with scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, fruit, variety of bread and pastries, yogurt and juices.

We had a very clean, neat and tidy room. Staff were very friendly, attentive and helpful. Breakfast was quite nice, and had most of what you could ask for. Our rooms were slightly on the small size, but still very reasonable. The hotel is well located, being walkable to all things in downtown Zurich. The street is pedestrianized, and gets quite busy. However, our rooms were perfectly quiet, and we didn’t hear any noise from below. Very well recommended.
