We were very happy staying at this hotel - a lovely place to stay in our first night in Switzerland! We were welcomed warmly by the staff, and were so pleased with our room - so comfortable with an amazing shower; the locations was ideal - close to eateries and train station, as well as being across the street from the bus station. We were so glad that the Fred Hotel was our first stop in our first time visiting Switzerland, and we would highly recommend staying here to others. We are sorry it was just a one night stay, and would love to stay again if we return.

The room is so cute and clean. It’s all digital: check-in/out, keys on your phone. Accessible to public transportation, and shops, just walk. If you book a tour, the bus station is just across the street. 👍

The hotel was excellent. The location was perfect, close to the railway station and within easy walking distance of both the old town and the main shopping area. I arrived early and was given my room straight away, as it was ready, which was brilliant as I’d expected to have to store my luggage. My room was spacious, clean and quiet. The breakfast was brilliant a variety of food on offer and plenty of seating. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed my stay and have already booked to return.

My mom and I stayed here for two nights, and we truly appreciated the kindness and hospitality of all the staff. The place was spotless, well-maintained, and in a very convenient location, with easy access to the train station and bus stops. Great Hotel! The hosts are wonderful and go out of their way to assist when you arrive. They have a luggage storage room which is helpful. Recommendations were wonderful on where to dine. They even brought me some Prosecco and a card for my birthday. Room AC unit was a huge benefit! Location was nice as well, and walkable. Would definitely stay here again if in Zurich!

My room was clean and had everything I needed especially the great A/C. The breakfast was delicious and great variety. Especially loved the fancy latte machine. The staff were very kind and helpful. I especially loved the young long blonde hair girl forget her name but she was very helpful on several occasions even would remember my room number. Definitely recommending this place to others perfect location too.
