This is a great five star hotel in Aswan. Prices are salty but as everyone says: you get what you paid for! Location was great, on Elephantine island. They provide free boat every 15 minutes. i felt Aswan overall was cleaner and safer than Cairo or Luxor. Stayed just the night after tour to Abu Simbel but would definitely return to see more!

The city is interesting with good archeological sites in the city or nearby, the souc ( open street market) is big, safe and very interesting to visit, if you can stay at the old cataracts hotel or at least visit it.
