"What a charming and peaceful getaway with amazingly hospitable staff who communicated very well! Food and views were excellent., The location itself was quiet yet right off of the main strip with the shops. Our balcony wasn't super clean, and the stairs leading up to our top level room were a bit smelly and uneven, so not handicap friendly (but lower level rooms would have been fine I believe). They even offered reasonably priced airport transfer."

We are two meals white staying and both were excellent. Please talk to the owner about a boat rental at local prices and what to see and not set around Aswan."

What made my stay truly special was the wonderful team. Everyone welcomed me with genuine kindness and a beautiful smile. Their warmth and love for what they do made me feel so welcome. It’s a rare gift to experience such heartfelt hospitality. My room was spotless, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and the balcony view of Philae Temple and the sunset was simply breathtaking. Delicious meals enjoyed with views of the Nile, accompanied by birdsong and a gentle breeze, became some of my favorite moments. If you love nature, tranquility, and genuine hospitality, I wholeheartedly recommend Aro Kato. It’s more than a place to stay; it’s a place to pause, reconnect with yourself, and experience the soulful beauty of Aswan. "Amazing location with fabulous views of Philae temple. Staff were friendly and extremely accommodating. In fact, we were the only guests that night so they offered us a room from an adjoining property that had air conditioning since most rooms only have fans. Views from the room overlooking the lake were gorgeous. The breakfast was wonderful with generous portions of delicious Nubian dishes. The hotel provides boat transport to and from the hotel which makes things very easy. This was a great place to relax for a day away from the continuous hustle and bustle of Aswan. It was a memorable experience."
