Typical old north eastern blue collar city,it's seen better days, but appears to be in a state of renovation and revival.
Quaint town. Came to pick up son from university so we did not explore the town.
Downtown Troy is a wonderful experience with restaurants and other activities. The Hotel is is within walking distance of these activities.
The hotel is nice but the several blocks around it are a little rundown with vacant old buildings etc. The area gets nicer close to the Troy music Hall.
City needs a lot of renovation and renewal!
