"The Claymore Hotel in Antigonish is very good value for the price. The property is very clean, well maintained with ample parking. Both the night and morning staff were pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately the dining room was closed due to it being Thanksgiving Sunday so we were given Tim Horton’s gift cards in place of breakfast. Nice touch! We enjoyed the large and very clean indoor pool twice during our short stay which we appreciated after a long drive. We would definitely stay again."

"Parking was great and it was close to amenities, within walking distance of restaurants. The only downsides were: the carpeted stairs seemed to be a bit dirty and the free breakfast in the restaurant was delicious but made it more time consuming when we needed a quicker start to our day."

"I love how this motel is located at the mouth of Cape Breton and right by the ocean. Unfortunately it's also beside a railway track. If like me, you can sleep through the train noise throughout the night, it's actually a nice comfortable place to stay. I also appreciate that we were provided plenty of toiletries."
