"The hotel is nice and the location amazing, but the pool was dirty (and was the main reason to stay) and the staff screams a lot between them around 6am while they clean or don’t know what they do. Hotel staffs set up karaoke and pool table for us, to keep us busy. They claimed the tree and provided fresh coconuts for us. "The grounds and restaurant were beautiful. The rooms were as basic as basic gets but the A/C works. Heads up no flushing toilet paper allowed, so you better be good with a tabo or have a waste basket full of poop napkins. On a scale of gross to wow this hotel is a solid meh. "

"We were double booked and could not stay at our original booked destination, which took very long to find due to no signs at all. There were 3 of us that had a booked and they moved us to there secondary place which was unfit for 3 men with only a double and a single bed together. The place was in terrible condition for what we paid. We ended up finding another place to stay at and have not not been contacted to be refunded after a formal letter was sent out. Do not book with talisay point...

"The resort is a five minute walk from the main street and for us that was a big plus. The main street has a loud, dingy Phuket-like vibe which doesn't appeal to my wife and me. We stayed in the ocean view suite, which was fabulous for the Moalboal area. Beautiful ocean views when the weather permitted and a ten minute walk to the main sardine run area. We didn't dive but the low tide is extremely low so I saw people walking with their gear to the water and the dive boats. SECRET CHEAT CODE - the dive shop has a freezer full of ice cream novelties for sale. The breakfast and dinner at the restaurant was pretty meh but there are a number of better places close by so we only ate one dinner there. The laundry service is a great convenience and the staff is overall very helpful."
