Like many properties in the centre of Alnwick, Bow Alley Lodge doesn’t have private parking, but there are plenty of free and convenient options just a short walk away:
Greenwell Road Car Parks (B & C) – Less than 3 minutes from the apartment and free all day with no parking disc needed. These are your easiest options if you’re staying for a while.
Pottergate New Row & Roxburgh Place – Just across the road and slightly uphill through Pottergate Tower (very close and scenic!). Also free all day, no disc required.
On-street parking – Directly across from the apartment is free between 6pm and 8am, with a 3-hour limit during the day.
Short-stay car parks – Greenwell A, Fenkle Street and Market Street offer free parking for 2–3 hours with a Northumberland parking disc. We provide one in the apartment, or you can pick one up from the Tourist Information Centre or Greenwell Car Park for just £1.
So, although we don’t have private parking, there are plenty of free options within 2–5 minutes’ walk.
