The apartment is on the ground floor of a farmhouse built in 1907, which today anmutet more like a manor house. It forms with the adjacent Roman church, the rectory, the Pfarrsee and the Schlossberg in a grown Ensemble. The house was designed in the 90's of refurbished and the environment in style again. The garden is spacious mecklenburgisch like a park.
In the house are two apartments, among other things: The "large" apartment is on the ground floor of the house and has a bedroom with double bed, small dressing room, modern bathroom with bathtub, modern fully equipped kitchen (incl. Dishwasher, microwave), lounge area with additional one Schalfsofa for 2 persons on about 60 sqm. Satellite TV, radio, wireless guest access are available. The terrace offers a view into the garden, to the Church, and the Mecklenburg countryside.
Towels, sheets and all running costs are included. A large swivel grill, garden furniture, sandpit - Launch deck, lockable garage, simple bicycles, cot, highchair can be used free of charge with.

Spacious apartment, lots of lovely open space in the shared garden.
Has everything you need for a short trip, but not very luxurious. If the weather is not good and you have to stay in, you will go mental. The apartment we stayed in just had windows to the road and the car park, so we needed to keep the curtains shut for some privacy (no view to be had anyway). We were glad that we were not disturbed by the other guests, before we went we were concerned about the stairs over the kitchen and living room, but we had no problems. Placed in a small village which is good for walks, but you need to go to the town to get groceries which is not walk-able.

Ruhe und Natur pur
Als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge ideale Lage. Mecklenburgische Schweiz ist traumhaft; v.a. die vielen Alleen. Sehr geräumige Wohnung, voll ausgestattet, Schlafzimmer mit begehbarem Kleiderschrank und guten Matratzen. Kontakt zu Vermieter freundlich und hilfsbereit. Dass die Terrasse nicht direkt von der Wohnung begehbar war, hat uns nicht gestört. Toller Garten fast schon Park. Ferienwohnung auf ersten Blick sauber. Verbesserungsvorschläge: Grundsauberkeit (z.B. Küchenfront, Dunstanzug, Badfliesen, Staub unter Möbel, Bett) In die Jahre gekommen sind Kühlschrank und Backofen Abflussgeruch im Bad ist unangenehm Wünschenswert wären auch Mückengitter vor einem Schlafzimmer- und Wohnzimmer-Fenster. Fazit: hätte gerne einen Stern mehr vergeben, Lage und Ausstattung der FW hätten es verdient.

Schöne Unterkunft, schöner Garten
Aufenthalt war sehr angenehm, Erholung im Garten war sehr schön. Schöne Umgebung, aber wir vermissten in der Gegend Wege zum Radfahren oder wandern. Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet, es hat an nichts gefehlt. Einzigster kleiner Kritikpunkt, war die Reinlichkeit der Küche (vorallem der Backofen), aber sonst war alles prima.

Entspannter Urlaub in toller Atmosphäre
Wir waren mit unseren beiden Kindern in Altkalen. Die Ferienwohnung war sehr gut ausgestattet, es gab sogar Spielgeräte wie Federball zur Verfügung und der riesige Garten ist für Kinder ideal. Die Wohnung war zwar sauber, aber wir mussten sehr viele Spinnen vorab beseitigen. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war nett. Nur hatte Fewo direkt mehrere Mails (u. A. wichtige Informationen zur Anreise) nicht übermittelt. Dies holte der Vermieter auf Anfrage nach. Dass man über Fewo keine PayPal-Zahlung ermöglicht bekommt und dass wichtige Nachrichten nicht weitergeleitet werden, ist der Plattform als sehr negativ zuzuschreiben. Wir werden unseren nächsten Urlaub eher über andere Anbieter buchen (dies betrifft nicht die Ferienwohnung, sondern lediglich den Anbieter Fewo!).

Schöne, gemütliche Unterkunft
...in der wir gute 14 Tage Urlaub verbracht haben. Idealer Startpunkt für Erkundungen in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, wirklich ruhig gelegen. Kontakt zum Vermieter bei Bedarf sehr schnell möglich, ansonsten keine Einschränkung durch Vermieter..Empfehlenswert

FeWo mit viel Potential, aber...
Urlaub im August 2022 FeWo mit viel Potential. Leider viel davon ungenutzt. Positives: Absolut ruhige Lage. Ortsansässige Mühle (Sonntagscafe + Backtag am Mittwoch / frisches Brot) Schöner Angelteich in der Nähe Negatives: Werbetext entsprach in einigen Punkten nicht der Realität vor Ort: - W-LAN: störanfällig, offensichtlich zu schwache Zuleitung Folge: TV mit verpixelten und stockenden Bildern, Filme mit ständigen Unterbrechungen, Telefonie über W-Lan nur bedingt möglich, ansonsten auch kein Netzempfang - Ausgewiesene Fahrräder waren unbrauchbar / schrottreif / stark verdreckt. - Kleiner Grill unbrauchbar. Nur Riesengrill verfügbar. - Sitzplatz / Außenbereich für FeWo ist 15 Meter von der großen Wohnung und 30 Meter von der kleinen Wohnung entfernt. Sitzplätze direkt am Gebäude sind für Dauermieter, nicht für FeWo-Gäste / Bilder täuschen. - Sitzplatz / Außenbereich muss mit Bewohnern der jeweils anderen FeWo geteilt werden. Lediglich 6 Sitzauflagen für 8 Stühle vorhanden, 4 Auflagen mit Brandflecken. Klappliegen völlig verdreckt, voller Vogelkot weil draußen abgestellt. - Sandkasten wurde lange Zeit nicht abgedeckt, Pflanzenwuchs und Kot von Tieren drin - völlig verdreckte Fenster, viele Spinnen in den Räumen - Gastherme falsch einreguliert, keine konstante Temperatur einstellbar, nach ca. 10 Minuten steigt die Therme regelmäßig komplett aus - Küche: Herd, Toaster, Kaffeemaschine, Wasserkocher waren völlig verkeimt, Herd, Wasserkocher und Kaffeemaschine haben wir stundenlang gereinigt - Geschirrspüler und Staubsauger waren nicht brauchbar, haben bei beiden Geräten die Filter gereinigt, sind jetzt wieder brauchbar - Badlüfter defekt / Lagerschaden, läuft extrem laut - Duschbrausenhalterung schon länger defekt/abgebrochen - ... Insgesamt leider ziemlich unbeholfener Vermieter. PS: An 3 Tagen pro Woche war 2-3 Stunden Fluglärm. Jagdflieger / Eurofighter. Die hört man aber in fast ganz Meck-Pom.
