“The problem is that there is no local help with this property. The apartment is managed by a company in Atlanta. I couldn’t find the key nor figure out how to lock the apartment, and getting help was cumbersome calling the management company in Atlanta, then awaiying a conversation with the on-call person. Then waiting for the Atlanta manager to phone someone in Ames.The building is full of students and reasonably quiet.The washing machine was missing a foot and thus juggled it’s way out of...

“We had an absolutely wonderful stay here! Everything was so well thought out, and I loved the notes about things that you wouldn’t necessarily notice as a guest. The beds were comfortable and the home was beautifully decorated. The historical notes and decor made it extra special. We loved the breakfast bar as well! Alison is an excellent, communicative host, and we hope to visit again. I also loved the labels on the light switches. ”
