Hotel was good option for walking to Casey Center for Paul McCartney concert. Lobby was filled with concert goers end of evening, and it took hotel over 30 minutes to open stairwell. People were piled up in lobby, security was nowhere to be found, and front desk didn't have keys to open stairwell. People were tired, had to use bathroom, etc, and it took too long to accommodate the guests needs.

Decor was cute and room was fairly clean. However the amenities and certain items such as the toilet are old and need replacing. The tv was small and needs upgrading. The channels kept losing signal all night. The breakfast... was really sad! Hands down ghe worst fake eggs I've ever had and my bar for fake eggs is very low.

Spotless rooms, keurig coffee maker, part of the Des Moines skywalk system, easy and short walk to all attractions and parking ramp. We had an event at the Casey’s Event Center and all indoor walkway to event center about 10 minute walk.
