“Comfortable, well maintained property. It's a great place to decompress with a peaceful location toward the end of the road. There is a nice small community beach to wander and take in the sea, Mt Baker, and comb for shells, etc. Wifi was strong. Check in and check out were easy. One word of caution is that the place could become unreachable or nearly so if there is significant snow or ice in winter.”

“Overall, we had a great stay. The house is clean and in a great location — about halfway between Eastsound and Moran state park. We appreciated the fenced backyard for our dogs. Only negative was that there isn’t a ton of seating in the living room (one couch and a few papasan chairs that were low to the ground), which might be something to consider if you’re coming with more than 2 adults (kids probably wouldn’t mind the papasan chairs as much).”

“Nicely appointed- a hassle getting in door though instructions were followed exactly. Came up with own procedure after waiting several minutes for management to respond to calls and text- tho eventually did.”

“We had an absolutely fabulous stay in Sandpiper Haven located on Penn Cove. The location is perfect for your stay on Whidbey Island. The charming town of Coupeville is right across the cove, and a thirty minute drive south brings you to the lovely town of Langley. The house itself is ideal. All comforts are considered, and waking up each morning to the splendors of Penn Cove is enchanting. We saw otters, diving ducks, and bald eagles right outside the door. This is THE PLACE to stay!!!!!!”

“We had a wonderful stay. We had our family and dog and found the home to be perfect for our group. The kitchen was large and allowed for our friends to join us and cook together for the holidays. The beds were comfortable and the living room area was large and comfortable for a group gathering. The location was spectacular with beautiful views. The full moon on the bay was gorgeous. We can’t wait to come back!!!”

“We had a great stay at Emma + Ro’s place. The property is definitely on a beautiful setting. Communication with them went smoothly. The house absolutely has character and charm. It could use a little love when it comes to the cleaning. Windows had face (I am assuming a small human) and fingers prints all over them and there are cobwebs in pretty much every room. Overall things just looked a little dusty. These are not reasons to not stay as we didn’t feel like it affected our stay at all. Just……

“This house was perfect for the needs of our group! The layout and setup of the beds worked great for us. The kids really enjoyed the backyard, especially the hot tub and basketball. They played outside until it was dark! The kitchen was well stocked for all our cooking and baking projects. The location was great and allowed us to make trips to Deception Pass State Park (30 min) and go horseback riding at Lang’s Horse and Pony Farm (only 2 miles away!). We loved thoughtful inclusions like many……

“We loved the inside of the house. Perfect for our getaway. As a Navy vet myself we absolutely loved the Navy fighter jets flying over. Watched them all evening. The Naval Air station is also a beautiful base. Close to ferry to go to Port Townsend. Cute downtown Coupville with the history of Practical Magic being filmed there. We also loved Port Townsend! Don’t forget to check that town out. So much to see and do around here that you could easily stay for a week or two or more!!!! Coming back to……

“Beach access, otters, eagles and friendly people all around. House is older but fit us well. Plenty of space to fit 6-8 people comfortably. Nice selection of towels and plenty of pillows and blankets. Bring garage bags, foil or parchment paper if you are planning on being at the house and cooking. ”

“The house is well maintained and very comfortable. Spotless clean! The view is magnificent! Stairway to beach, which is all rock and driftwood and found many pieces of seaglass. Great location for visiting the tulip fields. Very safe area.”

“Although by no means 'fancy' digs, the house and its furnishings were perfectly comfortable and ideal for our group of six. It was a 5-8 min walk to the center of town, so convenient to all activities. We didn't do any cooking so can't speak to the adequacy of the kitchen furnishings, but you do need to provide your own coffee. Simple, reasonably priced accommodations in a beautiful location.”

The house was well-appointed and had everything you need. It is a professional property manager, so they are easy to reach and very responsive.”

“Cute little eclectic cabin! Just 20 minutes away from Mount Vernon tulips and Street Fair! There's some delicious places to eat nearby, check the Google map reviews! We got outstanding muffin pastries at The Store and incredible seafood specials at Fidalgo Drive in! Looking forward to escaping again!”
