“I had a wonderful stay here. The single standard rooms are a good size and very clean. The views of the water/beach from top deck are incredible. The AC in the room works well and the shower was very nice. I highly recommend this place if you do not want to stay in a hostel while you are on the Camino de Santiago”

“We loved our stay at Casanova in the superior room. The location is perfect, an easy drive into Braga and also a great launching point for Geres. No worries about parking at Casanova; free, secured and flat parking lot. Owner Anna will tell you exactly where to park in Braga. The home is so clean with gorgeous decor and charming history throughout. The bed and linens are top notch. The grounds are incredibly beautiful and we loved the puppy dogs. Breakfast is perfect. “The host greeted us at the gate with keys and a quick tour of the lovely property. This house is the best location in which we have ever stayed: Attention to detail is evident everywhere from the bed and bath linens to the kitchenware to the overall design of the unit’s layout. Very clean and brightly lit, yet with excellent privacy. The neighborhood is quiet and quite suitable for a stroll to view others' gardens. Guest comfort is paramount though and through.”

“I highly recommend stopping here if you are on the Camino and want to stop in Caminha or Seixas. The private rooms are small but very nice. I had a view of the beautiful cathedral in town right outside my window. There is a beautiful view of the Minho River from the deck outside. The shared bathroom is very clean and the shared common room was large (as well as the kitchen). Patricia who runs it is also very kind and helpful. Definitely a 5 star stay!”
