“This stay five was out of this world. This is a historic castle that has amazing public areas and the private rooms are warm and inviting. Staff was helpful and hands off unless you needed assistance, the main dining room had French service and breakfast in the solarium was a great start to our day. They even had had a visit from Santa and an albino wallabe. ”

“Nice and cosy, lovely meals and dessert at the bar. Parking at hotel. There is a small lay-by before the hotel on merchants quay as well as parking opposite by riverbank in order to drop off luggage. Parking instructions is at reception. The parking building is 3 streets behind the hotel called the Glen Car park. Take a ticket and it is validated when you leave so free parking. Only a 5 minute walk to hotel. When leaving take validated ticket to car park and bring car back to layby or opposite……

The location of this hotel is absolutely perfect and the manager Noel is a nice guy and is very helpful with things to do and see in the area. Safe car parking, a good shower and a good night's sleep is all you need.”
