“I had a lovely week in downtown Dubuque. Check-in was easy. My 1st floor studio was comfortable, clean and safe. And while the combined bed/sitting area makes it a studio, it also has a large kitchen and nice bathroom. The bathroom has lots of open storage to keep your items within view and easily accessible, and the shower pressure was more than adequate for an older building. The unit is centrally located and within walking distance to any number of activities. I was easily able to navigate,……

“The house was very clean and comfortable. I loved the sliders to the deck. We had a wonderful view of the lake and we could see all the birds easily from the kitchen. The only suggestion I have is that either a sliding screen door is added or a screen that fits in the door frame. That way, you can keep the door open without letting bugs in. “The Briarstone Inn was a great place to stay for a solo traveler! Check-in was super easy, the room was clean, and I love the vintage look. It’s not right by the main drag, but it’s only a 5 minute walk away. I didn’t use any of the shared spaces, but it’s nice to have a kitchen & sitting area there to use! Danielle made sure I had all the info for check-in & check-out. Having a dedicated parking spot is SO nice. If I come back to Galena, I would stay here again! ”
