My experience check in and out was amazing. Staff was so welcoming and friendly. I got to my room and it smelled like cigarette smoke, the comforter had a blood spot on it, and the shower had hair on the wall. I was exhausted and didn’t want to deal with switching rooms but I wouldn’t be surprised if anyone else would have refused to sleep in there.

Right when we arrived our impressions were not good. At check in they sit down and are not friendly. They are fast but appears like they just want to be done with you. The parking situation is AWFUL. Ramp is too small and have to go back and forth multiple times to fit into limited spots they have. Homeless people hang out on the corner across the street so did not feel super safe walking to dinner. TBH the people I encountered were all friendly however still made me uneasy. Hotel looks newer inside and does have nice decor and rooms are comfortable but did not get a clean feel. Elevators were very dirty. A storm went through and we lost power on second night. It was out for nearly 4 hours before we decided to just leave and go somewhere else. I just assumed hotels have generators but that is not the case. They were understanding and did let people check out and not charge them. We headed over 6 blocks to Townplace Suites, which had power. I wish we stayed there to begin with. Bigger rooms, better parking, and nicer staff.

Staff was great, shout out to Laura at the bar and Jeff who drives the shuttle! Front desk people were great too! The chef and sous chef were also fantastic! Chef makes a phenomenal Cajun chicken and shrimp pasta!!! The room was also lovely and clean. Very friendly property.

Covered private parking ( free) . walkable to plenty of hauntes to et and drink . minutes from Eagle Point park( $1.00 admission) minutes by car to several churches . Quiet room . slept well

My problem is that when we checked in they showed a rate much higher than I had agreed with through Expedia and then said they would adjust it later but I never did see an adjustment. When I tried to call and ask them about it they wouldn’t tell me a rate and said that you had to go through Expedia. Otherwise the place was great. And the food was good for breakfast.

Went to the snack bar in the evening and they charged $13 for a bag of ruffles potato chips. They advertise on their website for a continental breakfast but they do not offer one. Payed $15 for a terrible breakfast buffet. Luxury prices for substandard amenities.

I got into the shower, and when I went to wash my hair, the shampoo dispenser was empty. I had brought no shampoo with me, and had no one with me to get some from the hotel. I used body wash to wash my hair. Very frustrating!
