Het eetgedeelte is los van het slaapgedeelte en is een apart gebouw. Het slaapgedeelte is mijn inziens wel opgeknapt. Het is en hele kleine ruimte met een qua formaat goed bed, maar het matras is niet om over naar huis te schrijven. De veren voel je er doorheen, nog gevraagd of we eventueel een andere konden krijgen maar dat was niet mogelijk omdat alle kamers met dit type matras zijn uitgerust. Bij de douche worden netjes shampoo en zeep geleverd maar het ontbreekt aan een rekje om het op te kunnen zetten evenals een haakje om je handdoek aan op te kunnen hangen. De douche ziet er heel netjes uit maar de douchekraan laat zich slecht mengen. En dat is echt een uitdaging. Er is ook niet gedacht aan een toiletrolhouder, deze moet je op het wastafelmeubel zetten. Er is ook weinig ruimte maar er zouden hiervoor slimme oplossingen bedacht kunnen worden. In de kamer ontbreekt het aan een kast of ophang mogelijkheden. Er was al redelijk recent een kapstok op de muur geplaatst, dat is in ieder geval al 1 ding maar zo zouden er wel meer mogen zijn. Dan het ontbijt in de omschrijving staat een uitgebreid ontbijt maar je kan op een tablet kiezen uit een aantal gerechten. En die zijn prima hoor, goede kwaliteit maar wel net even een beperkt gevoel. The room was difficult to find. Upon entering the room, it immediately did not look like the pictures. We were okay with that, even though we were given the impression that our room had some sort of view. That is not the case. The worst part about the room was the bed. I slept outside on the ground, which was more comfortable (Infantry Army Veteran). The WiFi was also so spotty that I had to use roaming data and incurred a hefty fee on my cellular bill. There is NO hotel staff around. None at all. They rely on the younger staff who work in the restaurant also to take care of the guests. The cleaning lady was lovely, and the location was close to restaurants. That is about the only positive thing about this place. It is located above the Acropol Restaurant, with the entrance being the green door on the side. Of note, the breakfast is provided at the restaurant next door, ROH, not the restaurant the hotel is above. We found the bed in room 101 to be uncomfortable (very hard and super squeaky). However, the rest of the room was sufficient and provided us with the perfect home base for our time in Athens. Room 110 (balcony, new bathroom) is better than room 103 (broken shower, no balcony, but fewer stairs). The service was excellent, we had to store some luggage for a few days due to an unexpected travel issue and they were very helpful with that and arranging airport transportation.
