Cafe Marco was a step above most of the food establishments, as was the Dawei Tea House, both linked to the hotel. Rooms were clean and modern. Only negative was that the advertised free parking was not free if you book through an on-line service, like Orbitz. We had a power failure the first night and it knocked out WiFi for the remainder of our stay. Same for Cafe Marco and Dawei Tea House. But that was beyond...

“Really nice hotel. The room was the premier Flint B, which had a comfortable queen bed and bunk beds for children. The terrace had a nice view of the bay. The only drawback was the steep stairs, but the bellhop carried up and down the bags. The hotel staff was very friendly, and everyone learned your name and it felt non-forced and like you knew them for a long time. I would suggest a drink at the bar in the evening with Ton Ton the bartender. I also thought the breakfast was excellent and...

“Room was beautiful, perfectly clean and smelled nice. The staff was super friendly, bossman even helped me try to fix my scooter when i asked for some tools! The premises are gorgeous, the breakfast was tasty and the vibe was generally calm, relaxing and comfortable. The AC is a bit dated but did a reliable job nonetheless. If i had to critisize something, the water pressure in the shower could be a little better. All in all still a 5 star experience for me!”
