“Excellent accommodation in a lovely part of the world.”

“What a great find. We needed a place that was big enough to accommodate all our family and this did not disappoint. Spacious rooms, fabulous garden and brilliant location. Everything you could possibly need for your stay was catered for. The house was spotlessly clean. We all loved it and looking forward to booking again for next year. ”

“lovely property in a good location.”

“Cottage in a beautiful area, cottage nestled in the heart of an unspoilt village. Cosy, well equipped, private and a perfect little bolthole.”

“Lovely cosy cottage with great views Excellent facilities in the kitchen . Close by Richmond ,Hawes, Leyburn.Would definitely stay again.”

“Beautifully clean cottage in an idyllic setting. The house was lovely and warm when we arrived, which was very much appreciated for a chilly weekend, as were the fresh milk and delicious biscuits. Fantastic walks all over, every one of which our dogs loved. The cottage had everything we needed. A very well equiped kitchen, and we were happy to see for the first time in all our rentals, proper Gin glasses! Large, quality wine glasses too. In fact, the cottage was equipped with quality……

“A comfortable cottage with all necessary amenities, including a wood burning stove and plenty fuel. Located in a small village near a friendly pub. Village shop is only open half days but Leyburn with a range of shops and places to eat is only 4 miles. Great area for walking”

“It was a cute little bolt hole. We are however tall & it’s very low ceilings and doors so had to duck everywhere. Reasonably well equipped. Very comfortable bed. Some cobwebs between beams & in windows which we used a duster to move those above the bed. The bushes by the main entrance could also do with a trim as encroach on the door way when passing through. Some teas, coffees, biscuits and fresh milk was a nice touch as well as the a little freezer with the fridge. Easy to park in little car……

“A very warm and spotless apartment. Great place to base oneself for a relaxing weekend ”

“Perfect cottage for 2, very well equipped, brilliant location with walks from the doorstep, lots of good pubs within walking distance, Dales bike Centre across the road served amazing food ( take away too if you wanted) would stay again”

“We had a lovely stay at The Old Barn, it’s well equipped, quiet and dog friendly. The parking worked well, we have a 4x4 and a tow bar mounted bike rack. We also appreciated having a secure shed for our bikes. The neighbours are friendly and made us feel welcome, we are planning to return to the cottage to explore the area further. My only comment is about recycling as we couldn’t find a recycling bin. But we did locate and use the local recycling facility, which is at The Reeth Dales Centre.”

“Great location with great walks. Cottage was outstandingly clean and comfortable, the welcome pack was a lovely touch. Would definitely stop at this cottage again.”
