"Everything you might wish for… a true luxury hotel within a short drive (or a medium length walk) to historic downtown Tours and the fancy shopping area."

"Etablissement et personnel impeccable, le tout très accueillant. Seul petit bémol, c'est assez sonore quand des personnes restent le soir à discuter sur la terrasse devant l'hôtel juste sous la chambre."

"Beautiful well maintained property. Love the view from the terrasse at the very spot in the park where « Le Déjeuner sur l’herbe » was painted"

"Thank you for a one of a kind stay! The room, gardens and gallery are beautiful. Such a unique place from which to explore the Barbizon painters, and the woods which inspired them."

"Very helpful owners, nice place in a beautiful village. I had a bit of trouble finding the right place but that was my fault. Lucile and Antoine had explained where it was but I couldn’t find the email. Very helpful people in the village, though."

"Beautiful location, quiet, nice rooms and very friendly staff. "

"The room was okay, but the bathroom in particular was a bit dated. For the price, it was nothing special, and I’ve stayed in better places for the same budget. However, everything was clean, and the staff were very friendly and helpful."

"Nice boutique hotel"

"Air conditioning works well. Rooms are tiny though!!"

"Very nice and convenient hotel."

"Older hotel but very clean and quiet. Staff were very helpful and the breakfast buffet was very good."

"Lady on reception was very helpful even though she was very busy."

"very nice budget hotel, good location, clean and comfortable."

"It works well for a short stay, and it’s very efficient. Good value for money."

"This was the highlight of all 6 of our hotel stays in France! The castle and grounds are beautiful! Would recommend planning time to walk and explore them. We stayed in the detached building and it was very clean, modern, and high quality. The owner was very helpful and welcoming. We hope to return."
