We had driven for two days and were a little upset when we got there our room not ready at 3pm. Even at 4 PM regular check-in time they’re still not ready so that was just exhausting. Finally, we got into our room and it was a nice room with a gorgeous view over the next five days that we stay there a couple things stood out to me. The staff and workers were all great very nice including Jimmya Denise. Connie. Everybody was very helpful delivered extra blankets because it was a cold week, but there were some things that were too bad. The swimming pools were freezing cold and basically unusable. The weather was running between 40 and 60° and even the indoor pool was freezing, so my kids were unable to enjoy the pool, which is one of the reasons why we booked the hotel another thing that was very difficult was the elevator continue to break down on the entire time we were there and we were at the bar and of a long hallway on the sixth floor with a dog that had to be brought out every few hours so going up and down the flight upstairs was exhausting and they kept telling us they were getting the elevator fixed, but then it would break down the same day again! I will have to say that we will definitely be back to Myrtle Beach, but unfortunately, we will not be booking with this resort. We did have the chance to eat at ocean blue the food was very good. We were one of the only people eating in there so we were served very fast but it is pricey! Floating river a joke.
