Stop over Basel

We needed a stop over from a long drive home. This was ideal for a bed and shower. Very clean, quiet and comfortable. The only issue was self checkin which didn't work and we had to walk to the next hotel to gain the access codes to the rooms.

Teeny tiny with no extras

I should have read up more on this “hotel”. We didn’t see any employees at all and since we arrived early, we had to pay extra for check-in since there was no one to store our luggage. The room was no bigger than the bed, no a/c, little loud with window open, rv sized shower. Pricey for what you got. Extra $ for maid service. Location was fine.

It was hard to get your questions answered since there was nobody there. I wanted for example iron, but I had to buy one from Migros!

Exactly what you expected. Only disappointment was we asked the cleaner for fresh towels and was told no. Had to use the same towels for 4 days. No bed change either.

It doesn't have an elevator but the guy helped us carry our bags to the 3rd floor. Also I almost got stuck in the bathroom of room 33, the door is broken and won't open again if closed all the way.

High-value clean hotel convenient to the Basel Bad train station (but not the SBB station). Check in was a block away at a different hotel. Our room was on floor 3 which, in Switzerland, means up three flights of stairs. There is no elevator. So, a little inconvenient. The room was small, but we were expecting that. It was very clean and comfortable. Overall an excellent value given the price for one night in the center of Basel.

DIRTY, COLD and DIRTY. Worst hotel ever. It was such a slum room with floor full of dust, shower with terrain on the ground and stained sheets. To complete the scenario a non-working hearing with frozen temperature. NEVER AGAIN

Für eine Nacht ist es Ok. Zimmer war etwas kalt. Jemand hat leider mitten in der Nacht den Feueralarm ausgelöst was hinderlich für den schlaf war, dafür kann aber das Hotel nichts
