Offered complementary activity equipment (SUPs, e-bikes, kayaks). Very pet friendly, with nice dog beds and dishes for pups. Complementary breakfast was also nice and they even offered plant based milk alternatives for my breakfast and coffee which was extra nice and unexpected.

The hotel was undergoing renovations and so I was on a first floor where the renovations continued. I am usually very pleased with this hotel, but not the room location this visit.

Very helpful staff especially when we asked them to fix small issue inside the washroom. In addition, staff were helpful when we try to navigate Fairmont Empress parking area which was confusing at start. Moreover, cleaning staff were amazing and always made the room clean and organize. Lastly, breakfast sausage was good with excellent drip coffee that made my brain focus and alive! During breakfast, the staff were accomodating when we told them that we are going to join whale watching tour. They did their best and made sure that our breakfast were done before the cut off time of the tour. We made it before the cut off time and saw three humpbacks!!! Keep up the good job guys and gals, and thank you for looking after us!
