  • This was one of my favorite spots in Spain. It has clear blueish-green water and was great for swimming and jumping off the rock in front. There is a small cave in the far back corner on the beach which has many mosquito's at night (bummer). This photo was taking in the morning before it got over populated with naked Spaniards swimming and playing ping pong on the beach. I would come here again I had a great time and camped 2 nights on the beach. The location of the beach is the closest I can do but it is referred by the locals as (Platjanudista).#Beach

Great service and beautiful hotel

The hotel is very clean, comfortable and well-decorated. The staff is friendly and helpful. The garden is beautiful. Well located to explore the Costa Brava.

Getting to the hotel is a nice experience as you will get glimpses of the Mediterranean along the way. The hotel director was extremely attentive to detail and was always available to answer questions. The hotel and beautiful pool are impeccable, and our garden-side room gave us the benefit of hearing seeing the sea and hearing the surf at night. The beach is a 10 minute walk, and you can access an alcove (Sa Riera) after a short hike over some scenic cliffs. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay.

Nous avons été bien reçu dans cet hotel,dommage que pour notre passage le restaurant était fermé. Malgré cela nous avons été servi le 1°soir et bien servi.Bon petit déjeuner ,frais et copieux. A recommander.

A decent place close to LA ROJA,15 mins to Fornell

Excellent room. 1KM away there is a supermarket. Is accessible only via car. No restaurants close by, even if there are you cannot rely on them. Restaurant on site is awesome but costly.

Baulärm ignoriert.

Ein schönes Hotel mit einem sehr guten Restaurant. Getrübt wurde das ganze durch zeitweise enervierenden Baulärm an einem Gebäude in etwa 100 Meter Entfernung. Nicht akzeptabel ist, dass die Dame an der Rezeption so tat, als gebe es gar keinen Lärm. Leider war auch die Wifi-Verbindung oft sehr, sehr schwach.

Overall very nice, but take your own mattress

This was a lovely hotel, but what let it down day the incredibly uncomfortably beds that are rock solid. There were two people at reception. The evening lady say very friendly and very helpful. The day staff lady with short blonde hair was not helpful. She seemed to be too busy doing whatever she was doing on the computer and when asked what shoos were close by, she acted as if she didn't know. We also asked her if she would show us another room we were thinking of moving to the next night as our suite was taken, but she responded, "maybe later". Obviously we did not stay the next night. Shame about the bed and person, because the rest of the hotel was very nice.

Vert nice hotel, close to the beach but need to provide better driving direction from Barcelona and include better street address for GPS, the current one has no street address and the house number. The food is excellent. The hotel provide the beach towels, the beach umbrellas may be rented on the beach for 7euros. The lunch may be purchase in any beach restaurants, good quality and reasonable price.

Bra hotel med veldig god restaurant!

Et bra hotell med tilsynelatende voksent klientell. Store rom og bra standard. Restauranten veldig bra! Fin hage og fint bassengområde. Minus for manglende strykejern og strykebrett på rommet. Strykejern fikk vi sendt opp fra resepsjonen, men det fantes ikke strykebrett på hele hotellet, det er ikke godt nok for et firestjerners hotell.. Vi opplevde stort sett god service fra de ansatte, bortsett fra en kvinnelig resepsjonist som var generelt lite behjelpelig og til tider direkte uhøflig i sine svar.

estancia muy confortable a la altura de un 4****

viaje de pareja. estuvimos un fin de semana, todo en general muy bien, puestos a ser criticos las habitaciones empiezan a estar un poco anticuadas pero por lo demas muy bien tanto el servicio como la localizacion (muy cerca de playa), limpieza etc.. a tener en cuenta: la comida del restaurante muy buena y no excesivamente cara (esta en la guia michelin).

Lovely place

Slightly difficult to find without a satnav but once there its a very relaxing, peaceful setting. We only ate breakfast here and this was more expensive than mentioned on the hotels.com site. Room was lovely and clean and all fixtures and fittings are high standard. Pool is fabulous and plenty of sunbeds. Beach and a few restaurants within 10 mins walk
