The receptionist said they would send a technician to fix wifi and hot water but it wasn't fixed. Mid stay I was woken by hotel staff and told i’d have to change rooms immediately because they need to do floors (with no remorse, offer of upgrade or apology). I had been completely unpacked because I was staying several days. So I pack up everything, don’t even shower and decide i don’t want to unpack and repack everything for one last night, I was already annoyed. No only did the property not Expedia give two cares about my comfort and stay, both refused to refund just my very last day. Expedia wouldn’t refund their fee to the property for the last day so the property wouldn’t refund me last day. The hotel staff were mostly rude (even before this problem, upon checking the bot hardly spoke to me and was watching TV with some girl). The expedia agent tried to lie to me about his conversation with the staff (but I was standing right next to her so ai heard the entire thing. Expedia has gone way down hill and no longer supports or protects its customers-and we have so many options, please go use something else. The property is ok but next to freeway-so sound is bad even if they didn’t have remodel going on. Won’t be using wingate or wyndham anymore either. Bed was comfy, walls and furniture was old. The shower curtain didn’t reach the floor and water got everywhere, and it smelled of old smoke. The place was starting to show its age but now it seems to be run like a third world country. People who checked in before me came back because they didn’t have have pillow cases. I got to my room and there were no glasses in bathroom for water and no cups by coffe machine. I called and the brought me glasses. Which meant no hot tea on a cold winter night. The next day I got half my stuff in the car and my plastic card keys no longer worked. I went to the main office and no one at the main desk (which is pretty common of late). I waited 30 minutes and the office slowly filled up with other people because everyone had been locked out. Finally a woman said I know where the housekeeping crew is— I Wii get them to let us in. The heater didnt work well. It took a couple of hours to go from 62-65\. Staff said to be patient. We honestley don't think it was working. By morning it never reached above 65 and said "error". TOOO COLD! We got 2 extra blankets and climbed into bed to get warm. Breakfast had cold eggs!! At check out, I mentioned this and was given "hed nods".
