Spacious and private in a beautiful setting

A get-away in the forest, yet only two minutes from I5 and five minutes from the charming Fairhaven area of Bellingham, this secluded guest house is nestled on the end of a dead-end street. This spacious 900 square feet charmer has its own entry and separate parking pad. The kitchen features a two-burner cooktop, an under-the-counter refrigerator, and a built-in microwave. The kitchen is stocked with cook ware and serving items, as well as coffee maker and Peets coffee. In addition to the queen bed in the bedroom, the living room features an ottoman that pulls out into a bed. The stereo has speakers in the living room as well as auxiliary speakers in the bedroom. The 50" smart TV includes basic channels and Amazon video access. The bathroom features a glassed-in shower, fluffy towels, and a blow dryer.

This peaceful retreat is only minutes from the InterUrban and Arroyo Park trails and less than ten minutes from Western Washington University.

Sleeps three. Two in bedroom and one on twin fold-out ottoman. Dining for six, four at dining room table and two at kitchen counter.

The owners live in a separate house on the property.

Bellingham visit

The apartment is pristine, nicely furnished, clean w all the basics. I’d stay there again. Also location is 10 min to center of town and located on a quiet dead end street. Great value!

Fairhaven fun!!

We had a great stay in this super sweet private home in Fairhaven/Bellingham. It was so wonderful to be so close to some of our favorite spots; Boulevard Park, Chuckanut Drive and Larrabee—a huge highlight was walking the trail behind the rental property to Arroyo Park :-) Thanks for the wonderful hospitality!

The cabin looked rougher on the outside than the pictures but was nice inside. I verfied with the manager whether the cabin had an EV charger but there was none. We stayed at the cabin 5 nights but initially only had 1 wash cloth. We asked for more and only received 2 more and they were in bad condition. The bathroom needs a good deep cleaning.

Great spot

We loved Steve’s place. It is very private and just what my daughter and I needed for a weekend together. It’s close to everything. The only thing it doesn’t have is a freezer, but that wasn’t an issue for us, just letting others know. We didn’t cook because we got takeout from the local Coop or ate at some of the fabulous restaurants. We hiked each day and then enjoyed the evenings playing cribbage or watching a movie snuggled on the couch. One of the nights the owls were chatting away and we loved seeing all the wildlife. It’s a magical area. We will be back for sure!

Cute Place!

This is a very cute place and my mom and I enjoyed our stay. I will definitely stay here again when I return to visit my son and daughter in law. It had everything we needed. My only complaint is the place was not very clean. We also like to cook our own meals and the kitchen tools were limited. Outside of this it was great.

Fantastic, quiet, private! I really enjoyed my stay and appreciated how easy Steve made the process of checking in/out was. This is a really novel location, end of a cul de sac and on the second story of a garage/outbuilding so when you look out the windows when sitting on the couch, you feel like your in a tree house. Cedars and maples and birds and all the good stuff. I will definitely stay here again.

Rustic getaway suite in Bellingham

Beautifully located on the south side of Bellingham, this suite is ideally located to explore the towns of Fairhaven, Bellingham, and the Chuckanut mountain area. Very wooded, quiet, and serene. The suite was well stocked with all the essentials, and the bed was super comfortable. We will stay here again on our next visit!!!

So close to town but feels like you’re out in the woods. Lovely apartment. Quiet too! I was able to get a months worth of work done without any distractions. WiFi was great. Just the perfect little place. I’ll be staying again

Fantastic weekend getaway in the woods!

We had a wonderful long weekend in the Fairhaven area while staying here. The guesthouse was perfectly located, spacious, clean, and lovely. Close to hiking areas and restaurants. We’ll definitely stay here again if we’re back in the Bellingham area.

Quiet & Peaceful Stay in Bellingham

We enjoyed the quiet and peaceful neighborhood in Bellingham just a couple miles from a cool little downtown and close to harbor. We cooked on the stovetop once or twice and enjoyed cruising around scenic Bellingham and Vancouver B.C. along with many other sites. Can't wait to come back.

Cozy Getaway in Bellingham

Just what we needed!

My wife and I needed a place to stay while visiting our daughter and son in law. We found the one bedroom cabin to be very roomy and comfortable. The surroundings were close to other homes BUT was a very quiet neighborhood. Our kids visited us there a couple of times as well and there was plenty of space. We were more than pleased with the accommodations and will certainly consider a return trip! Definitely recommend this place and host!
