“We stayed in the cottage, in room B. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds we had ever slept on The temperature in the room stayed nice and cool, especially during the hot July weather. You can tell a lot of care went into making guests feel comfortable. For breakfast we were given a voucher to Charles Cafeteria. The food there was great and the staff was real friendly.”

“Enjoyed my stay here. The room was quiet; the bed was comfy. The only tiny complaint is that the vending machines don't take cards, and the highest bill they accept is a 1 dollar bill. This will not keep me from staying here again though! I will just have to remember to bring change next time. 🙂”

“Junk containers everywhere, 'lumber' under plastic by frontdoor, pool covered, trash in pool area, weeds everywhere, dead animal on driveway pointed out to manager when arrived but still there next morning, broken luggage rack, dirty refrigerator, no chair in room to sit on, "reception" area like the Black Hole of Calcutta. Room smelled of stale smoke while bathroom had urine hints by toilet.”

“The hotel is decent, but not for the amount of money that they charged. The pool was broken so I couldn’t use it. There is a smell throughout the entire hotel that isn’t pleasant. Most definitely in need of renovation. Breakfast was decent, but very typical”

“Location, location, location. It's so convenient to be close to U. of Alabama campus. We stayed there for my daughter's sorority move in. It was nice to be close to campus to pick up packages that had been shipped and be close to shopping centers.”

“We were greeted by a young lady at the front desk who had a warm heart and sweet personality, which was so welcoming after a long and tiring day of moving a student to her new dwelling. Checked in about midnight, woke up to have breakfast and again the housekeeping, breakfast crew and front desk were top notch. Will definitely stay here again!”
